Verizon and Pepsi teamed up to revolutionize fan engagement with a groundbreaking VR 360 experience for the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Through the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime App, powered by Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network, fans were transported to SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles to witness live performances by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.

 

With eleven 360° 8K cameras and Verizon’s reliable 5G network, the experience, dubbed Ultra Pass, enabled half a million fans to virtually join the event, surpassing physical limitations and granting access to the stage itself.
