Custom Everything.

 

Over the span of 5+ months, Andrew led the design and capture of the immersive visuals used in the Illuminarium’s debut experience  “WILD.” Brought on as the immersive expert with extensive prior experience in cinematic spatial filmmaking and high-fidelity panoramic virtual reality,  Andrew guided a team of  film industry professionals in creative and technical capacities to create a one-of-a-kind transportive experience.

 

Andrew created multiple ultra-high resolution custom-made rigs purposefully designed and tested to not only be among the most advanced capture systems in the world, but also relatively compact and wieldy to withstand conditions of a safari. Every aspect of each rig was specifically designed with a hyper-intentional sense of proportion, scale, detail, and perspective to guarantee the most  true-to-reality experience possible. The end result is so much more than merely cinematic footage on multiple IMAX-style screens.

As Illuminarium and WILD rewrite the script for immersive entertainment, they illuminate not just breathtaking landscapes, but the future of spatial media’s impact on storytelling and human connection.
